Georg Winter – literary activities
Dr. Georg Winter expresses his personal and professional experiences in verses. One of his main subject matters is the self-assertion of people living in a world that is overrun by technology and gradually being destroyed.
In October 2006, RANDOM-HOUSE AUDIO released the CD: “Zungenbrecher – Brich dir die Zunge und nicht das Herz“ (“Tongue Twisters – Twist Your Tongue, Don’t Break Your Heart”) with tongue twisters recited by Dr. Georg Winter himself. His cycle of ballads “Der Trödelbarde oder die Schau der seltsamen Dinge“ (“The Rummage Bard or the Exhibition of Peculiar Things”) (1986) was discussed in the newspapers Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Frankfurter Anthologie) and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
