INEM – International Network for Environmental Management

INEM, the International Network for Environmental Management, was founded 20 years ago. It currently has 25 members in 20 countries, including Switzerland, Hungary, Australia and Tunisia. Although the member organisations of INEM are structured differently and focus on different types of work, they have one thing in common: They all want to promote sustainable management. With support from INEM, they are currently helping their approximately 3,500 member organisations implement environmental and sustainable management and use innovative environmental and energy technology.

INEM makes knowledge from around the world available and usable for its members, for small and large businesses and for their consultants. An intelligent search tool is available on the www.INEM.org website to help users find case studies, project reports and above all industry articles on all aspects of environmental technology and sustainable management The pool of knowledge also provides a great number of tools to support environmental and sustainable management in one’s own company as well as in the distribution chain.

INEM opened another office in Brussels in 2005. It is expected that this will make an even closer collaboration with the European Commission and international institutions possible.
